Challenge

Designing a conceptual book cover that represents Carl and Ellie’s relationship through symbolic, non-literal imagery. The challenge was to convey emotional depth using minimal elements while adhering to Penguin’s visual constraints and brand language.


Approach

Analyze Carl and Ellie’s relationship to identify key themes, then translate those ideas into symbolic visuals using a minimal design approach aligned with Penguin’s style.
